Sim and Judy Strickland
Former home missionaries in Louisiana, Sim and Judy Strickland received their appointment as UPCI missionaries to Greece in October 1983. They arrived in the land of their calling on May 15, 1986, with the goal of reaching the Greek people with the gospel. Building upon the foundation established by the Demoses, the Stricklands saw the hand of God further open the door to the Greeks. The Stricklands reside in Athens, the capital city. He is the field superintendent and oversees the total work. They have established a Bible school that uses both Greek and English. Sim Strickland’s appointment was expanded to include Albania and Armenia. He is the official UPCI representative to both nations. He also travels into Armenia and Albania to help pioneer the works in these nations.
